LOAO’s Midwinter Managers Meeting
Last month, on January 26-27 boomerang carnets generously sponsored the 16th annual LOAO Midwinter Managers Meeting, an educational and networking forum for executive directors and youth orchestra administrators to attend sessions, connect and exchange ideas. This year, due to a major winter storm system moving across the U.S., the event moved from an in-person event in New York City to an online event. Undaunted, it was well attended and persevered as a valuable forum for many.
Grant Opportunity Congratulations
Every year, boomerang carnets offers a limited number of Carnets "Play the World" Grants to support LOAO Members and ABO members with delegate fees to upcoming Conferences. This year’s Midwinter Managers Meeting was no exception. Executive directors, operations managers, general managers, and tour managers apply for this monetary award because, in many cases, they would not be able to attend due to budgetary constraints.
