Boomerang carnets® is pleased to announce updates to our Carnet-Customized Airport Maps (C-CAM), a valuable travel resource designed to help ATA Carnet users locate Customs quickly and easily at major international airports.
Our Airport Maps for Carnets page consistently ranks among the Top 5 most-viewed pages on our websites. When we include the host page for individual maps, three airport maps pages rank in the Top 10 most-visited pages overall, highlighting just how essential this tool is for our carnet users.
Some Changes
The latest updates include new information for the following airports:
- Los Angeles (LAX)
- Chicago O’Hare (ORD)
- Portland, OR (PDX)
- Newark (EWR)
- Phoenix, AZ (PHX)
- Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG)

About Our Carnet-Customized Airport Maps (C-CAM)
We created C-CAM to help you pinpoint the exact location of Customs to simplify the process of locating Customs offices at the airport of importation and re-exportation. Carnet users can face enough challenges at airports and finding Customs shouldn’t be one of them. There are 57 international airport maps currently available including additional detailed terminal-specific maps for Detroit, London Heathrow, Mexico City, Minneapolis, Newark, Singapore, Taiwan, and Toronto. C-CAM offers the clarity and direction carnet holders need.

Helpful Tips for Carnet Holders to Ensure a Smooth Airport Experience:
- Always arrive early – give yourself at least 3 hours in advance.
- Call ahead to confirm Customs office location and hours.
- Schedule an appointment if traveling on weekends.
- Document your interactions – get the name and contact number of the Customs officer assisting you, it may be needed later.
- Check country-specific travel advisories in advance.
