Carnet Service Center Adds Two Customer Service Assistants

Barrington, IL - 10/11/2011 - Corporation for International Business has added two new customer service assistants to its Barrington, IL staff. Petru Malan and Dana Gordon, Assistants to the Team Manager (Customer Service) began their ATA Carnet training today under the supervision of Jackie Dalgleish, Team Manager. The addition of two assistants in customer service is expected to provide more depth to the customer service department which is on-call 24/7 to accomodate calls from overseas carnet users and emergency carnet applications during evenings, weekends and holidays.

Petru Malan is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in Business Management/Finance. He has worked as Passport Specialist at the Arkansas Passport Center and holds a High Risk Public Trust clearance level, has worked in a management role in retail and is licensed in Arkansas for life/health insurance. Mr. Malan is also fluent in Romanian and English.

Dana Gordon is a recent graduate of the University of Oregon with a bachelor's degree in Spanish. Her work experience includes bilingual instruction, customer service and data management. Ms. Gordon will provide additional Spanish-speaking skills to CIB's customer service department as carnets to Mexico increase and more Latin American countries prepare to join the international ATA Carnet system.

CIB, using its "Boomerang Freight Solutions" service mark, is a Service Provider for the United States Council for International Business (USCIB), the U.S. Affiliate of the Paris-based, International Chamber of Commerce. CIB/Boomerang Freight Solutions has held this appointment for 25 years.
