2012 Orchestra Scholarship Applications Now Available

The 2012 Carnets "Play The World" Scholarship applications are now available for download. General Managers, Operations Managers and Executive Directors of League of American Orchestra member orchestras are eligible to apply. This year is the third year that Corporation for International Business is offering scholarships to orchestras that tour internationally or plan to tour internationally. So far, about $5000 in registration fees and travel expenses have been paid for by the Carnets "Play The World" Scholarship funds. A new cash benefit has been added to the scholarship award for orchestras that tour within 12 months of receiving the scholarship. See 2010 recipients and 2011 recipients.
