India Adds Ports
INDIA INCREASES NUMBER OF PORTS ACCEPTING ATA CARNETS TO 8
United States Council for International Business announced on December 20th, 2007 that Ahmedabad and Hyderabad have been added as Customs ports in India. They will accept the presentation of ATA Carnets issued under the Exhibitions & Fairs Convention. The ports in India are:
- New Delhi (North India)
- Mumbai (West India)
- Kolkata (formerly Calcutta, East India)
- Chennai (South India)
- Cochin (South India)
- Bangalore (South India)
- Ahmedabad (West India)
- Hyderabad - ICD (South India)
