CIB ATA CARNET ADVISORY

MONTENEGRO NEWEST MEMBER OF ATA CARNET SYSTEM

United States Council for International Business announced on November 5^th, 2008 that Montenegro will become the 66^th member of the ATA Carnet system and begin accepting ATA Carnets effective December 1^st, 2008.

Montenegro will accept carnets for all three categories of goods:

Exhibitions and Fairs
Professional Equipment
Commercial Samples

Carnets may be used for transit operations and unaccompanied goods.

All Montenegrin Customs offices are authorized to handle ATA Carnets during hours of operation.
