CIB ATA CARNET ADVISORY

CHILE TO BEGIN ACCEPTING ATA CARNETS OCTOBER 1, 2005

United States Council for International Business announced on August 25^th, 2005 that Chile would begin accepting carnets on October 1^st, 2005. Chile is the first Latin American country to accept carnets.

Chile will accept carnets for all three categories of goods:

• Exhibitions and Fairs
• Professional Equipment
• Commercial Samples
