Financial Protection from a Crisis Abroad for ATA Carnet Holders

Kidnap, Detention, Extortion, Products Extortion or Hijack are real dangers for companies operating in and traveling to overseas markets. These risks are often overlooked on the grounds that "it won't ever happen to us", but the damage this can inflict on a business can be very severe.

Crisis Response Insurance is offered to ATA Carnet holders to protect against financial loss should a crisis occur. It pays up to $100,000 per incident to cover the costs of responding to a Kidnap, Detention, Extortion, Products Extortion or Hijack emergency situation overseas.
