Lead Information Systems Engineer, Barrington, IL

We are currently looking for a qualified Lead Information Systems Engineer to be a leader in our growing IT Department.  Corporation for International Business, a leader in ATA Carnets, customs guarantees, surety bonding and marine insurance, is expanding within our specialized niche. We are sorely in need of additional IT Resources to be a part of our expansion. Our new headquarters offices are locating in downtown Barrington, IL, just 2 blocks from the Metra Train Station.

As the Lead Systems Engineer you will:

·Architect, design and create applications and systems that automate and process our customer’s requests.

·Create applications, data structures and related queries that interface with accounting and other ERP systems.

·Create state of the art customer portals and production tools.

·Discover the needs of our customers and translate them into technology deliverables.

Core Requirements

-3+ years Information Systems experience

-2+ years VB6 Experience (.Net 2.0 a plus)

- MS SQL Support and Design (SQL 2000-2005)

Extra Consideration:

BS Degree, Information Technology-related

Formal Training in VB technology

LAN IP configuration and maintenance in multi-subnet environment (DNS, DHCP, WINS)

Application integration with Avaya Office

Project Management

Web Site Development

Visual Studio a plus

DEPARTMENT Sales & Marketing, Trade Bridge International, Inc.

Assistant Controller, Barrington, IL

As the Assistant Controller you will:

·Prepare consolidated and consolidating financial statements and the notes thereto,

·Prepare journal entries, and

·Maintain the general and sub ledgers.

·2-3 years of experience with a Big 4 or other public accounting firm,

·Experience with preparation of consolidated and consolidating financial statements and the notes thereto,

·Insurance or other service industry experience,

·Proficiency with Microsoft Great Plains, FRx, Word and Excel software, and

·4-year (or higher) degree in Accounting.

Extra Consideration:

·CPA certificate.
